Doctor Ivo Robotnick, better known as just Dr. Eggman, is an evil genius with an IQ of 300. He is obsessed with taking down Sonic the Hedgehog so he can take over Station Square and build his ultimate Eggman Empire. Although he has gotten close several times, he ultimately fails due to the heroic actions of Sonic and his friends on many occasions.
Eggman also has a love for creating robots and creating other machinery to help him take over the city. He is the creator of Orbot and Cubot, two of his robotic henchmen, along with Robo and Metal Sonic.
Biography
Background
Many years before Dr. Eggman dedicated his life to machinery and taking over Station Square, he was a teacher in a long forgotten city. He got his degree and taught science and math, before he eventually quit to pursue his dreams of becoming famous.
He later came up with the idea of his “Eggman Empire,” an entire city dedicated to the evil doctor. He eventually learned how to create robots using animals as hosts. However, after Sonic found out about his evil schemes, he saved all the animals and put Eggman out of commission.
Ever since, Eggman hasn’t been able to successfully take over Station Square and its inhabitants, mainly due to Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends.
Later, he created Orbot to help assist him with daily needs, including making sandwiches and gathering essential equipment. He later decided to give Orbot a buddy, Cubot, later coming to realize that it was a bad decision.
Eggman’s only true goal is to take over the city and create his Eggman Empire, and to take down Sonic at any and all costs.
“The Perfect Actress”
After Amy finishes talking to Weiner and Jessie, she signs and states that she is a disappointment to everyone she comes in contact with. That’s when Dr. Eggman shows up, causing the other cast members to run off. Amy then comforts Eggman and asks him what he’s up to and states that he only wants to talk with her when he wants to kidnap her. He then states that he only wanted to congratulate her on her acting, before Amy states that she’s terrible, but Eggman assures her she is the perfect actress. Eggman then proceeds to offer her an “acting job” as a suicidal girl. Amy, concerned, decides to accept the offer. Eggman then runs off excitedly and reminds her to show up at 6:10 the following morning at a local café.
Eggman offers Any a job as an actress for his “movie.”
While waiting for Amy ten minutes before she’s supposed to arrive, Eggman gets impatient and starts to hope that she shows up soon. Orbot then assures him that she will have to show up. Taking it straight to the head, Eggman says that Orbot might be right and Amy has to show up because he is “a genius.” After he finally looses his patience, Eggman throws his arms up and down and walks in front of his table. But after Orbot starts to suggest he do something to Amy, he punches Orbot out of the Café. At 6:30, Eggman finally decides to track down Amy, leaving Cubot and Orbot at the Café.
Dr. Eggman is upset with Amy and prepares for a fight against Sticks, Sonic, and Knuckles.
The actors start “practicing”, and everything goes exactly according to script, but Dr. Eggman blows up the entrance to the theater, approaches the actors in anger and starts yelling at Amy for not meeting up with her. He eventually calls her a stupid actress before Knuckles and Sonic quickly defend her. Eggman then gets angrier and starts shooting at them before Knuckles quickly punches him into a wall. Eggman then rises and punches Knuckles on conscious. Sonic then attempts a spin dash, but Eggman kicks him into a spiked shell prop. Sticks then charges towards him before he picks her up and flings her out. Amy then throws multiple props at him and causes him to fall and hit his head, leaving him unable to fight back.
Eggman is bound and surrounded by Sonic and his friends.
At parkside, Dr. Eggman is tied up. Amy then tells Sonic about how her job as an actress has been saved, and Sonic questions why (mainly due to Eggman destroying their plan). Amy then tells Sonic that the Stage Director loved what they had done (even with the destruction) and that she wants to continue off of what they did against him in the theater. Sonic then assures Amy she really is the perfect actress. Knuckles then suggest they all celebrate by getting pizza, leading them all to leave the park, except Eggman. Worried, he calls for help, saying that they can’t just leave him there. Sticks then returns, kicks the bound Eggman over, chuckles, and then runs.
